Earmarks $147m for service improvement as MTN deepens innovative content


Network Provider MTN is promising improved service for its subscribers.
The Network according to the company’s Corporate Service Executive, Mrs. Cynthia Lumor, is set to introduce new products aimed at deepening the content of its services.
The drive, she added will be anchored on innovation as the company hopes to provide the best of platforms to its subscribers to do more with the network .
She explained that a whopping $147m is being earmarked to improve service quality and innovation so that subscribers can have value for money.
Speaking to the media during a workshop for media personnel in Cape Coast, Mrs. Cynthia Lumor also pledged the commitment of the company to protect its client from abuse by fraudsters.
The company, he added has taken steps to block unregistered SIMs which are mostly used to engage in dubious activities at the expense of the unsuspecting public.
She added that the company will remain committed to its core values in making sure the brand retains its slot as the preferred network of the people in advancing communication .
Mrs. Cynthia Lumor stressed that the company has a lot to offer in terms of corporate social responsibility aside offering more jobs to over 500,000 people in the country.
The company she added paid Ghc 1.1b in taxes and other responsibilities to government and would continue to play active role in helping the country get to its optimum level of development.
